Linux Directory structure

A directory is an organized structure or container which contains files and other sub-directories in a hierarchical manner. Sometimes, we may wonder that what goes where in our Linux system or what file system does Linux follows. In Linux directory structure, I will try to explain what kind of content is stored in which type of folder or directory in the Linux.
